488: "The U.S. and the Korean War." The instructor for the course
is Dr. Nick Sarantakes,
an assistant professor in the Department
of History. This class is a capstone course, which is required
of all majors here at Texas A&M University--Commerce. The class
is restricted to juniors and seniors. There are three main components
of the capstone:

Korean War
tudents will be expected to attend
the Korean
War Lectureship Series. To mark the fiftieth anniversary of this
conflict, Texas A&M—Commerce is bringing a number of distinguished
experts from across the country to campus to speak on various aspects of
this episode in American history. A number of experts from campus
will also take part in this speaker series.

then, you can buy copies of the books that will be assigned for the course
and read them. All these books will be available in the East Texas
and Campus Bookstores, but all are cheaper from electronic booksellers.
